1. Booking Process
1.1 Consultation Required
All retreats begin with a personal phone consultation to ensure the best fit for your needs and expectations. We will contact you within 48 hours of your consultation request using your specified contact preferences.
1.2 Reservation Confirmation
Your retreat reservation is confirmed only after payment of the $1,000 non-refundable deposit and receipt of signed booking agreement. Verbal confirmations do not constitute a binding reservation.
1.3 Booking Timeline
Due to our intimate group sizes, spots fill quickly. We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred dates. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis upon deposit payment.
2. Eligibility Requirements
2.1 Age Requirements
Participants must be 21 years of age or older at the time of the retreat. Valid government-issued identification may be required to verify age.
2.2 Women-Only Policy
Our retreats are designed as women-only experiences to create safe, supportive environments for connection and personal growth.
2.3 Health and Physical Requirements
Guests should be in reasonable physical condition to participate in retreat activities including walking, light exercise, and optional adventure activities. Any health conditions or physical limitations must be disclosed during consultation.
2.4 Conduct Agreement
All participants must agree to our tranquility and conduct policy, which requires respectful behavior and contributes to our drama-free, healing-focused environment.
3. Payment Schedule and Options

4.1 Intimate Group Sizes
We intentionally limit group sizes based on each specific retreat to ensure intimate, meaningful connections and personalized attention for each guest. Group size limits vary by trip and will be clearly specified for each retreat.
4.2 Uvita Retreat Capacity
Our signature Uvita Women's Wellness Retreat is limited to a maximum of 6 women to maintain the intimate, transformative experience our guests value.
4.3 Waitlist Policy
When retreats reach capacity, we maintain a waitlist. Waitlisted guests will be contacted immediately if spots become available due to cancellations.
5. Communication and Consultation
Our Personal Approach
All consultations are conducted via phone rather than video calls. This allows us to focus entirely on understanding your vision and answering your questions without distractions.
5.1 Response Times
- Consultation requests: Within 48 hours
- Email inquiries: 1-2 business days
- Custom retreat requests: Within 48 hours
- Urgent booking questions: Same business day when possible

When requesting a consultation, you can specify your preferred contact days and times. We will work within your schedule to ensure convenient communication.
6. Custom Retreat Bookings
6.1 Custom Request Process
Custom retreat requests require detailed information about your group, celebration, destination preferences, and budget. We review all requests within 48 hours and contact you to discuss possibilities.
6.2 Custom Retreat Timeline
Custom retreats typically require 60-90 days advance planning to ensure proper coordination of accommodations, activities, and logistics. Rush bookings may be possible but are subject to availability and additional fees.
6.3 Custom Retreat Pricing
Custom retreat pricing varies based on group size, destination, duration, and activities selected. Detailed quotes will be provided during consultation.
7. Travel Requirements
7.1 Flight Arrangements
Round-trip flights to retreat destinations are never included in retreat costs. Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights. We will not pay any ticket fees.
7.2 Travel Documentation
Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation for their destination. We recommend checking requirements well in advance of your retreat date.
7.3 Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance is not included in retreat costs but can provide coverage for unexpected circumstances.
8. Changes and Modifications
8.1 Guest-Initiated Changes
Changes to bookings (dates, accommodations, activities) are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. All changes must be requested in writing and approved by Travel in Serene.
8.2 Name Changes
Name changes on reservations are permitted up to 14 days before departure at no charge. Name changes closer to departure may incur administrative fees.
8.3 Retreat Modifications by Travel in Serene
We reserve the right to modify retreat itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. Such modifications will maintain the spirit and value of the original retreat experience.
