Important information for your Travel in Serene experience

Our policies are designed to ensure every guest has a safe, peaceful, and transformative retreat experience. Please review these important terms before booking your retreat.

Booking & Payment Policies

Deposit Requirements

A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This deposit is applied toward your total retreat cost and ensures your reservation in our intimate group setting.

Final Payment

Final payment is due 30 days before your retreat departure date. For the Uvita Women's Wellness Retreat, final payment of $1,500 is due by September 2, 2025.

Payment Options

We offer a simple two-payment structure: deposit and final payment. Third-party payment plans may be available through services like Afterpay or Affirm where offered during checkout.

Special Offers

Special offers are available for guests who pay in full at the time of booking:

  • Bestie Bonus: Book with a friend and save $100 per person (must book together and pay in full)
  • Early Bird Discount: Book by August 30, 2025 and receive 5% off (save $125 instantly)

Cancellation Policy

Non-Refundable Deposit

The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances. This policy ensures we can maintain our intimate group sizes and cover non-recoverable costs associated with your reservation.

Final Payment Deadline

Final balance must be paid by the specified deadline (30 days before departure). Failure to pay by this date may result in forfeiture of your spot.

Late Cancellations

Cancellations after the final payment deadline are non-refundable. However, your spot may be transferred to another guest with our approval, and we will work with you to facilitate this when possible.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. Travel insurance is not included in your retreat cost but can provide coverage for unexpected circumstances.

Group Requirements & Conduct

Age Requirements

Participants must be 21 years of age or older for our current retreats. This ensures a mature, adult-focused environment conducive to our wellness and connection goals.

Women-Only Spaces

Our retreats are designed as women-only experiences to create safe, supportive environments for connection and personal growth.

Group Size Limits

We intentionally limit group sizes based on each specific retreat to ensure intimate, meaningful connections and personalized attention for each guest. Group size limits vary by trip and will be clearly specified for each retreat.

Tranquility & Conduct Policy

This is a peace-centered retreat created with intention, care, and a deep commitment to healing and harmony. Guests are expected to arrive with an open heart, mutual respect, and a willingness to unplug, connect, and grow.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Negative energy, disruptive behavior, or emotional distress directed at others will not be tolerated.

This is a sacred space. Drama-free. Gossip-free. Healing-only.

Expected Behaviors

  • Open-hearted participation in group activities
  • Respectful communication with fellow guests and staff
  • Willingness to disconnect from work and technology during designated times
  • Flexibility and openness to the retreat experience

Consequences

Guests who violate our conduct policy may be asked to leave the retreat without refund. We reserve the right to make this determination to protect the experience and well-being of all participants.

Travel & Accommodation Policies

Flight Arrangements

Round-trip flights to retreat destinations are not included in retreat costs for any of our trips. Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for their own flights. We will not pay any ticket fees. Airport transfer services from the designated airport to the retreat location are included where specified.

Shared Accommodations

Our retreat features shared room accommodations with two guests per room. Rooms include two plush single beds, soft linens, and calming décor. Room assignments are made by our team to ensure compatible pairings when possible.

Personal Items

Guests are responsible for bringing personal hygiene items (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.). A packing list will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Schedule & Activity Policies

Flexibility & Flow

While every detail has been thoughtfully planned, we remain in tune with nature's rhythm. Should weather or unforeseen events affect our schedule, activities may be adjusted or substituted with equally meaningful and memorable alternatives.

We invite every guest to come with an open heart and a flexible spirit as magic is always part of the plan.

Meal Costs

While many meals are included (private chef dinners, floating breakfast), guests are responsible for covering the cost of their own food and drinks during restaurant outings. Please bring spending money for these occasions.

Optional Activities

Some activities are marked as "optional" (such as swimming at waterfalls or snorkeling). Participation is always at your comfort level and physical ability.

Communication Policies

Consultation Process

All consultations are conducted via phone rather than video calls. We will contact you within 48 hours of your consultation request using the contact preferences you specify.

Response Times

We respond to all inquiries within 48 hours during business days. For urgent matters during your retreat, emergency contact information will be provided.

Custom Retreat Requests

Custom retreat requests are reviewed within 48 hours. Our team will contact you to discuss details, pricing, and timeline for your personalized experience.

Health & Safety Policies

Health Requirements

Guests should be in reasonable physical condition to participate in retreat activities including walking, yoga, and optional adventure activities. Please disclose any health conditions or physical limitations during your consultation.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is highly recommended but not included in retreat costs. Insurance can provide coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Dietary Accommodations

We accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences when communicated during booking. Please inform us of any allergies, vegetarian/vegan preferences, or other dietary needs.

Emergency Procedures

Emergency contact information and procedures will be provided to all guests upon arrival. Our team is trained in basic first aid and emergency response protocols.
